Alex Schleifer

Alex Schleifer is a seasoned creative leader with extensive experience in the video game and design industries. Currently serving as the Creative Director and Co-Founder of Human Computer, an independent video game studio, Alex also contributes to The Game Band in product and design for the community-driven game Blaseball. As a Venture Partner at Rise Capital, Alex focuses on expansion-stage investments in Internet businesses. Previously, Alex founded Universal Entities, held the role of Chief Design Officer at Airbnb, and was SVP of Design & Creative Director at Say Media. As a co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of UX Magazine, Alex led the publication to prominence within the user experience design field. Additionally, Alex co-founded and served as CEO of Sideshow, an award-winning creative digital agency.
