Nazar Yasin

Nazar Yasin is the Founder and Managing Partner of Rise Capital, a global investment firm focused on Internet-enabled businesses in Emerging Markets since February 2013. Previously, Nazar served as a Director at Tiger Global Management, playing a key role in the private investment team from July 2010 to February 2013, and was the CEO of Forticom, the largest social networking business in Russia and Eastern Europe, which was sold to Mail.ru in July 2010. Earlier in the career, Nazar co-headed the EMEA Internet Coverage at Goldman Sachs from August 2006 to April 2009, where responsibilities included advising media and technology companies and engaging in M&A transactions. Nazar holds an M.B.A. and a J.D. from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
