William Schleifer

William Schleifer is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries. As CEO and CTO of Powerup since November 2019, William has successfully implemented a generative AI model for game concept art, launched cost-reducing SaaS solutions for hospitality, and established a global engineering network. In parallel, William serves as Entrepreneur in Residence at Rise Capital, advising early-stage startups on technology strategy. Previously, as VP of Engineering at Bed Bath & Beyond, William drove significant cost reductions through innovative cloud solutions, and at Decorist, William enhanced remote team capabilities and increased conversion rates. William co-founded Sideshow, where a successful exit to Say Media was achieved, and has also played key roles in earlier ventures, demonstrating a strong ability to align technology with business objectives. William holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from The City University of New York.
