Devonté Payton

DeVonté Payton is a seasoned professional in education and community development, currently serving as the Director of Development at RISE Memphis, where responsibilities include creating a 3-year fund development plan and building relationships with donors. Previously, DeVonté held the position of Director of Community Schools at Seeding Success, managing fiscal policies and community partnerships. As Manager of Community Schools at Shelby County Schools, DeVonté facilitated the development of multiple schools to address students' needs. Additional experience includes roles in marketing and recruitment at KIPP Memphis Collegiate Schools and McDonald's, and early career positions at CarMax and Peer Power Foundation. DeVonté earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from The University of Memphis.
