Lucas Zubillaga Maharg

Lucas Zubillaga Maharg is currently the Co-Founder and CTO of Rise Reforming since May 2023. Prior to this role, Lucas gained experience as a Scholar in Offshore Wind Project Services at Avangrid from June 2024 to August 2024, and as a Nuclear Science & Engineering Intern at Argonne National Laboratory from May 2023 to July 2023. Additionally, Lucas served as a Research Assistant in The Gagliardi Group at the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering at the University of Chicago from December 2022 to May 2023, and contributed as a Research Assistant in the Department of Nuclear Engineering at ETS Ingenieros Industriales UPM from June 2022 to September 2022. Lucas is pursuing an education at the University of Chicago, expected to graduate in June 2025, and holds prior educational qualifications from the American School of Madrid and Colegio Estudio / Fundación Estudio.
