Alexander S. Getsin

Alexander S. Getsin, also known as RiseUp, is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at riseup and the Innovation Co-Chairman for the (ISC)2 Israel Chapter, Alexander specializes in cyber and information security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management. With a background that includes serving as Co-Chair of the Cloud Security Alliance's Top Threats Research Work Group, Director of Information Security at Tipalti, and Cloud & Architecture Security Lead at CyberInt, Alexander has demonstrated expertise in cloud security, policy development, and risk management. Additionally, Alexander has a solid foundation in cybersecurity from serving in the Israel Defense Forces and has contributed to education as a network and security instructor at HackerU. Alexander holds an Engineer's Degree in Computer Software and Network Engineering from Ort Harmelin.
