Maya Schuster

Maya Schuster has a wealth of experience in the IT field. Maya began their career in 2007 as an IT Service Desk Manager for the IDF. In 2010, they joined Pontis as an Analyst, developing and maintaining advanced SQL automation scripts and managing reports. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Research Assistant at Tel Aviv University, designing and developing a unique software system for analyzing large-scale biological data. Maya then moved on to become a Research Assistant at the Leibniz Institute for Natural Product Research and Infection Biology - Hans Knöll Institute, where they interned as a student in Prof. Rainer Konig's Bioinformatics group. In 2015, Maya joined Wix.com as a Web Application Developer. Most recently, they have been a Development Team Lead and Software Developer at Riseup since 2018.

Maya Schuster attended Tel Aviv University from 2011 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Bioinformatics.
