Joe Murgo

Joe Murgo has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Joe currently holds the position of Senior Client Implementation Specialist at Risilence since February 2023. Previously, they served as the Chief Meteorologist at WTAJ-TV from February 2001 to February 2023. Joe Murgo has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Member of Penn State Altoona Faculty Senate since September 2020 and as an Adjunct Professor at Penn State University since September 2004. Furthermore, they have also held the role of Board Member at the American Meteorological Society from 2009 to January 2013. Prior to their academic and television roles, Joe Murgo worked as a Meteorologist for WTOV-TV from September 1995 to September 2000 and as a Senior Meteorologist at AccuWeather from October 1988 to September 1995.

Joe Murgo attended Penn State University from 1987 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology.
