Eugene Hughes has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Starting in 1993, they worked as a Junior Staff Accountant at Grossman, Brozman & Agrin, CPA, and then moved on to MARDEN, HARRISON & KREUTER, CPA's as a Senior Staff Accountant in 1994. In 1997, they became a Senior Compensation Specialist at Gartner Group but resigned shortly after due to plans of relocation.
In 1997, Eugene joined EMCOR Group as the Chief Financial Officer of their F & G Mechanical Corporation Division. During their tenure, they implemented changes and grew the finance department by almost double, focusing on financial reporting, treasury, risk management, and IT. Eugene left in 2007 due to a Reduction in Force.
Afterward, Eugene joined Access Industries as a Controller, overseeing financial reporting and managing a team. Eugene'sposition was eliminated in 2009 following an economic downturn. From 2009 to 2017, they contributed to Taro Pharmaceuticals as the AVP, US Controller, responsible for financial reporting and analysis, as well as supervising a team of 35 finance professionals.
Since 2017, Eugene has been with Rising Pharmaceuticals, serving as the Senior Vice President of Finance. Eugene provided financial and operational support during the company's post-bankruptcy restructure, leading to profitability and growth. Eugene also led the finance group during integration and consolidation efforts under Aceto Ownership. Additionally, they played a critical role in achieving private equity investment for the company.

Eugene Hughes received their Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Mercy College from 1984 to 1988. Eugene then pursued further education and obtained their Master of Business Administration degree in Accountancy from Baruch College between 1990 and 1994.
