Mahender Korapati

Mahender Korapati has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Mahender is currently the Vice President of Quality, Regulatory Affairs & Pharmacovigilance at Rising Pharmaceuticals, where they oversee the market positioning of new products, manages FDA regulations and compliance, and handles quality assurance and change management. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Scientific Officer at Aurex Labs, where they led generic product development, ensured compliance, and focused on revenue generation. Mahender also held a role as the Director of Global Regulatory Affairs at US Pharma Labs, where they handled global compliance and trained teams for FDA inspections. Before that, they were the CEO and Co-Founder of Appco Pharma LLC, where they handled project initiation, FDA inspections, and oversaw product development. Mahender started their career at Johnson & Johnson, where they held various roles including Program Manager of Compliance and Manager of GMP Compliance, overseeing quality systems, audits, and data analysis.

Mahender Korapati earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Karnataka University, Dharwad in 1989. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Drug Regulatory Affairs from Long Island University, completing it in 2004. In terms of additional certifications, Mahender obtained RAPS membership and a Regulatory Affairs Certification Program from the Regulatory Affairs Certification Program in January 1991. Mahender is also a Registered Pharmacist in the State of New York and the State of New Jersey. Additionally, they hold a Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) from the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS) and is registered as an RpH in both the State of NJ and NY.
