Rahul Saikia

Rahul Saikia has a comprehensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry, spanning across various roles and companies. Rahul is currently the Head of Mergers and Acquisitions, Strategic Alliances at Rising Pharmaceuticals, where they have been instrumental in bringing HIG Capital as strategic investors into the company. Rahul is also responsible for driving M&A evaluation pursuits and overseeing strategic initiatives to optimize plant efficiency and ensure readiness for US FDA inspections.

In addition, Rahul has served as a Strategic Advisor at Grace Therapeutics and CRONUS PHARMA LLC, where they provided advisory support in the reverse merger of Group Entity Grace Therapeutics into Acasti Pharma and carried out strategic advisory roles.

Prior to their current roles, Rahul worked as the Chief Strategy Officer at FDC Limited, where they successfully led the strategic transformation and revitalization of the India Domestic Branded Generics business. Under their leadership, the company achieved a significant net income growth. Rahul also played a key role in closing important transactions, including the Aceto Chapter 11 deal.

Before joining FDC Limited, Rahul worked at PwC as a Director in Corporate Finance & Investment Banking and served as an Independent Corporate Finance Advisor, where they founded their own firm. Rahul also held positions at ENAM as Vice President, Investment Banking and at SSKI as an Investment Banking Associate.

Rahul's early career includes experience at Pfizer as a Strategy & Business Development Associate and at ANZ as an Investment Banking Analyst.
