Kevin Hertel

Kevin Hertel is a finance professional with extensive experience in private equity and trading. Currently serving as Vice President at Rising Point Capital since August 2021, Kevin has also held roles as Senior Associate, Associate, and Private Equity Intern within the same firm. Prior to this, Kevin worked as a Derivatives Trader at Valkyrie Trading from June 2017 to November 2020, and as an Associate Natural Gas Scheduler at Tallgrass Energy from January 2015 to April 2017. In addition to practical experience, Kevin has contributed as a Teaching Assistant at The University of Kansas School of Business and interned as a Business Analyst Intern at SelectQuote Insurance Services. Kevin is pursuing a Master of Business Administration at NYU Stern School of Business, expected to graduate in 2025, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Accounting from The University of Kansas, completed in 2014. Additionally, Kevin earned a Certificate in Alternative Investments from Harvard Business School Online in 2021.
