Neal Bloom

Neal Bloom has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Neal is currently the Managing Partner at Interlock Capital, where they oversee the community of founders, investors, and subject matter experts to find, evaluate, fund, and support the best companies. Prior to this, Neal was the CEO of Rising Tide Partners and Founder of Fresh Brewed Tech, a tech news community. Neal has also served as a Board Member at Upcycle and Company.

In terms of their earlier work experience, Neal was an Evangelist and Marketing Manager at Hired, Inc., where they focused on new geo expansion, SMB & enterprise sales, and marketing/brand strategy. Neal was also a Co-Founder and Board Director at Portfolium, which was later acquired by Instructure.

Neal's technical background includes working as a Systems Engineer/Product Manager at Aerojet Rocketdyne, where they managed large-scale rocket engine manufacturing, testing, and launching of engineered systems. Neal also played a role in data analysis and anomaly detection for space shuttle main engine tests and launches.

Before that, Neal started their career as a Mechanical Engineer Intern at BAE Systems, where they implemented mechanical, test, and electrical engineering on multiple projects, leading to successful contracts and the development of new products.

Neal Bloom obtained a High School Diploma from Granada Hills HS. Neal then pursued a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego. Neal furthered their education by obtaining an MBA with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Marketing from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School. Additionally, they obtained certifications in various areas including ASU GSV Summit in 2016, Beer Brewing Education from Golden Road Brewing in 2013, and Leadership Development from Dale Carnegie Training in 2010.
