Zach Taapken

Zach Taapken serves as the Director of Sales at RisingWave Labs, where responsibilities include building an event stream processing and management platform since October 2022. Previously, Zach co-founded BuyTheBroncos.com, a decentralized autonomous organization aimed at purchasing the Denver Broncos, gaining significant media attention and attracting over 2,200 members. Prior experience includes a successful tenure as an Account Executive at Weights & Biases, contributing to the addition of 26 new customers and notable clients such as Anthropic and Reddit. Zach also played a pivotal role in driving growth at DataSet, contributing to an increase in annual recurring revenue from $2M to over $10M, and was among the first team members at Scalyr. Additionally, Zach's background includes global travel and consulting for early-stage companies, along with previous roles in sales development at Swivl. Zach holds a Bachelor's Degree in History and Business from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
