Jan Gerle

Jan Gerle has a strong background in IT and leadership roles. Jan is currently working as the CTO at RISK IDENT since September 2022. Prior to this, they served as the CTO at Hanko.io from April 2021 to April 2022. Jan also held positions at PAYONE, where they were the Executive Director of Frontoffice & Software Development from July 2018 to February 2021 and the Head of IT from May 2013 to June 2018. Before that, they worked as the Director of System Administration at Smaato from March 2011 to April 2013. Jan started their career as a Consultant/Project Manager at PAYONE from January 2008 to February 2011. Jan also held leadership roles at Gosch & Schlüter GmbH as the IT Manager from September 2006 to November 2007 and at Buchner & Partner as the IT Department Manager from September 2001 to August 2006. Jan's work experience began in the German Federal Armed Forces as an Officer from September 1996 to August 2001.

Jan Gerle attended the Universität der Bundeswehr in München (UniBwM) from 1999 to 2001. It is unclear whether they obtained a degree or studied in a specific field during this time. Jan then went on to study Wirtschaftsinformatik at the Wirtschaftsakademie Schleswig-Holstein from 2001 to 2004, earning a Diplom.
