Chief of Staff at Risk Ledger

Emily Hodges is the current Chief of Staff at Risk Ledger. Prior to that, they were a Cyber Security Manager at Confidential from August 2017 to September 2018. There, they developed and delivered the consulting proposition and go-to-market strategy for a cyber security start-up, covering digital strategy, human risk, compliance and crisis management. Emily also developed and delivered a comprehensive GDPR compliance programme for a number of clients, focussing on embedding real change into the organisation. This included designing and integrating all materials such as data flow maps, data protection impact assessments, privacy risk management frameworks, privacy notices, third party management processes, breach notification processes and governance structures. Emily also delivered training sessions for employees and ran workshops for senior management.

Prior to their role at Confidential, Emily was a Cyber Security Consultant at PwC UK from September 2015 to August 2017. Before that, they were an intern at PwC in the Cyber Security department in August 2014 and September 2014.

Emily Hodges has a MSc in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London where they achieved a distinction. Emily also has an MMath in Mathematics (Pure Mathematics) from the University of Nottingham.

Emily Hodges reports to Haydn Brooks, Co-Founder & CEO. Emily Hodges works with Alex Lyma-Young - Director of Sales, Daniel Saul - Co-Founder & CTO, and Ashley Mitchell - Head of Growth.
