Vaughn Pearson

Vaughn Pearson has extensive experience in the banking and finance sectors, with a career spanning over five decades. Since 1978, Vaughn has served as a Course Instructor at The Risk Management Association, leading courses in commercial lending and credit. Vaughn's previous roles include Supervisory Special Agent at the Texas Department of Banking from 2009 to 2014, overseeing troubled banks, and Texas Division Manager at Washington Federal Savings Bank from 2003 to 2007. Vaughn has also held senior consulting positions from 1993 to 2003, and executive roles at various banks, including EVP & Chief Lending Officer at American Federal Savings Bank and EVP & Chief Credit Officer at NorthPark National Bank. Academic credentials include an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Tulane University, an AB in Economics from Duke University, and honors from the SW Graduate School of Banking.
