Andrew Parks

Andrew Parks has a diverse work experience in the field of risk management, security consulting, and compliance. Andrew currently works at risk3sixty as the Manager of the PCI Practice. Prior to this, they worked at The Bonadio Group as the Manager of the PCI QSA & ISO 27001 Practice Lead for two years. Before that, they were a Security Consultant at Coalfire and also held the position of Associate Security Consultant. Andrew has also worked at State Farm as part of their Enterprise Technology team, focusing on PCI Compliance and Governance, Risk, and Compliance. Andrew started their career at Illinois State University as an Enterprise System Solutions Specialist.

Andrew Parks obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Illinois State University, where they studied from 2011 to 2014. Andrew has also earned several additional certifications, including ISO 27001 Lead Auditor - Information Security Certification from BSI in October 2019, ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer from BSI in July 2019, Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate from the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) in May 2023, Qualified Security Assessor from the PCI Security Standards Council in February 2020, Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2020, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) from CompTIA in October 2018, and CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA in November 2016.
