Eran Kamber

Eran Kamber has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and engineering. Eran currently holds the position of Director of Data Science at Riskified, where they lead the data science team. Prior to this role, they served as a Data Science Team Lead at Riskified, managing the team and driving the development of data-driven solutions.

Before joining Riskified, Eran worked at the Data Science Group, where they held the position of Data Science Team Leader. In this role, they were responsible for managing the entire process of solution development with clients, from proof of concept to live monitored data pipelines. Eran also played an instrumental role in defining product roadmaps, setting KPIs, and building a high-performing team to meet these objectives. Eran accelerated development cycles by implementing a formalized development methodology and software infrastructure.

Earlier in their career, Eran worked as a Data Scientist at the Data Science Group, where they provided consultation services to customers on utilizing machine learning methods for data analysis. Eran developed and integrated machine learning algorithms into their systems and employed the CRISP-DM process model to deliver weekly updates and insights sessions. Eran successfully completed projects related to improving user click-through rate prediction using NLP embedding techniques and deep learning on unstructured data, as well as predicting the probability of customers purchasing holiday cancellation insurance in a highly unbalanced dataset.

Prior to their experience in data science, Eran worked as a Design Engineer at Intel Corporation, where they specialized in Design For Testing/Debug (DFx) and gained proficiency in Bash/Shell scripting, System Verilog, and design development. Eran also worked as an Algorithm Developer at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they contributed to the development of algorithms.

Eran Kamber pursued their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, completing their studies from 2012 to 2016.
