Amrit Dhakal

Software Engineering Team Lead at Riskonnect

Amrit Dhakal has a strong background in software engineering and development. Amrit is currently working as a Software Engineering Team Lead at Riskonnect, Inc. since June 2022. Previously, they worked at Riskonnect (formerly Castellan Solutions) from June 2017 to June 2022 as a .NET Application Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for implementing reliable, fast, and secure application features, automating manual processes, optimizing builds and deployments, and performing various DevOps tasks.

Before joining Riskonnect, Dhakal worked at Gettysburg College from August 2013 to May 2017. During their time there, they held multiple roles including Student, Teaching Assistant, and Research Assistant. As a Research Assistant, they worked on algorithms for solving specialized versions of the center region problem, analyzed algorithm runtimes, and made observations leading to a better understanding of their performance. Amrit also worked on a Java library for Android programming, expanding its functionality and integrating it with the DrJava IDE.

In addition, Dhakal gained experience as an Application Developer at Gettysburg College's Athletic Training Department from September 2016 to December 2016. Amrit also worked as a Research Assistant in the Computer Science Department at Gettysburg College from May 2016 to July 2016.

Amrit Dhakal completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Gettysburg College, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Before that, from 2010 to 2012, Amrit completed their GCE A Levels in Physical Sciences at Trinity International College.
