Jim Wetekamp is the CEO of Riskonnect. Jim has over 25 years of experience in the software industry, including leadership roles at BravoSolution, Atlas Commerce, and IBM.

Jim began their career at IBM in 1996, where they spent four years as a team lead in the IGS WW Finance organization. In 2000, they joined Atlas Commerce as director of product management, where they helped the company launch its first product.

In January 2002, Jim joined Verticalnet as vice president of consulting & solution strategy. Jim played a pivotal role in the company’s growth and eventual sale to an Accel-KKR portfolio company.

In January 2008, Jim became CEO of BravoSolution, an industry-leading cloud procurement technology solution provider. Under their leadership, BravoSolution grew rapidly and was successfully sold to an Accel-KKR portfolio company.

BravoSolution supports over 650 companies and 130 thousand users in 87 countries in the digitalization of the end-to-end procurement process. BravoSolution offers powerful cloud-based procurement solutions to fit the needs of today’s leading procurement organizations.

BravoSolution’s mission is to create customer value by automating key procurement activities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement function. This transformation drives cost reductions, improve procurement compliance, reduces supply risks and more effectively manages the procurement process.

In January 2018, Jim became CEO of Riskonnect, where they are continuing their work to revolutionize the software industry.

Jim Wetekamp's educational career includes a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana University Bloomington and certifications from LinkedIn in Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences and Forbes in Official Member, Forbes Technology Council.
