Terryl Ahern has a diverse work experience starting in 2003 at The Jedburgh Woolen Mill as a Supervising Retail Assistant. They then worked at Claytons as a Supervising Bartender, followed by roles as a Retail Assistant at Wycombe Wanderers / London Wasps RFC and as a Supervising Cocktail Bartender at The Marlow Bar and Grill. In 2014, Terryl joined The EarthWorks (now OPEN Health Patient & Brand Communications) as an Executive Assistant/Office Manager. They later transitioned into a role as a Software Test Analyst, where they led requirements management and quality assurance for clinical trial applications and mobile applications. In 2019, Terryl joined DA Systems Ltd. as a QA Engineer, and then became a Product Owner, leading product management for a mobile application and website. Currently, Terryl works as a Product Manager at Riskonnect, Inc., where they oversee product development and improvement.

Terryl Ahern attended Jedburgh Grammar School from 2000 to 2005, but their degree and field of study are unknown. In terms of additional certifications, Terryl obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from Scrum Alliance in March 2020. They also obtained the following certifications: Creating a Product-Centric Organization from LinkedIn in January 2019, Transitioning to Product Management from LinkedIn in December 2018, BCS Intermediate Certificate in Software Testing from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in April 2017, ISTQB Certified Tester - Foundation Level Extension, Agile Tester from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in August 2016, and ISTQB-BCS Certified Tester Foundation Level from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in May 2015.
