Daniel Tammas-Hastings has held a number of roles in the finance industry since 2004. In that year, they began working as a Risk Analyst at Hypo Real Estate Bank International, where they shadowed the Global Head of Risk Management and gained experience in market and liquidity risk analysis. In 2005, they moved to Solent Capital as a Credit Portfolio and Risk Management professional. In 2007, they joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a Fixed Income Market-Maker. In 2014, they founded and became the Managing Director of RiskSave Technologies, a FinTech incubator that provides technological and regulatory support to asset managers and leading FinTechs. Most recently, in 2019, they joined Plenitude.io as an Investments & Fund Selection professional, where they focus on digital advice, multi-asset allocation, fund selection and ESG.
Daniel Tammas-Hastings obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics and Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) between 1999 and 2003. Daniel then went on to receive a Master of Science (MSc) in Mathematical Trading and Finance from Cass Business School in 2004. In 2013, they earned a Master of Business Administration - MBA from the University of Cambridge. In 2006, they obtained a FRM from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP). In 2008, they were awarded a Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute. In 2018, they received a Diploma in Investment Compliance from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI). Finally, in 2021, they earned a Diploma in Investment Management ESG from the CFA Institute.
