Shankar Srinivasan has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Shankar is currently the Chief Operating Officer at RiskScreen since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at SteelEye from 2017 to 2021 as the Head of Platform, where they played a crucial role as part of the founding engineering team, responsible for overseeing and managing various teams across multiple locations. Shankar also gained valuable experience at ASDA as a Technical Delivery Manager from 2013 to 2016. Shankar'scareer began at Manhattan Associates in 2004, where they started as an intern and eventually progressed to a Principal Engineer. Throughout their tenure at Manhattan Associates, Shankar gained valuable experience in product development, technical support, and consulting across different regions, including the US, UK, and India.
Shankar Srinivasan graduated from PSG College of Technology in 2005 with a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Software Engineering. After completing their undergraduate studies, they obtained their first certification, the Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform 1.4, from Sun Microsystems in December 2005. Shankar later received certification as a Sun Certified Web Component Developer, also from Sun Microsystems, though the exact month is unknown.
In 2012, Shankar obtained certification in Introduction to Macroeconomics from the University of Oxford. In 2013, they obtained two more certifications, Computing for Data Analysis from Coursera and Introduction to Microeconomics from the University of Oxford. Moreover, in 2014, they acquired the Prince2 2009 Foundation certification from APMG-International.
Lastly, Shankar obtained the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org in November 2016.
