Aaron Price

Aaron Price, CPA, CMA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in business systems and financial analysis. Currently serving as a Business Systems Senior Analyst at Ritchie Bros. since November 2021, Aaron leads projects for the implementation and support of financial systems in collaboration with Finance and IT. Previously, at the City of Surrey from May 2010 to November 2021, Aaron held multiple roles including Functional Application Analyst in Finance, where key achievements included leading software migrations, training staff, and overseeing a team for software testing and documentation. Earlier experience also includes positions as an Accountant and Accounting Clerk, where responsibilities ranged from reconciling general ledger accounts to managing substantial budgets and financial statements. Aaron's background is further complemented by roles at Elections BC, providing leadership during municipal elections. Education includes a BBA in Accounting from Kwantlen Polytechnic University and a CPA, CMA designation from CPA Canada.
