Michael Vanata

Michael Vanata has extensive work experience in various roles within the field of engineering and technology. Michael is currently working as the Sr. Director of Digital Engineering at RITE AID since August 2021. Prior to this, they had a long tenure at Sears Holdings Corporation, where they held positions such as Sr. Director of Engineering eCommerce/Mobile, Director of Engineering eCommerce/Mobile, Systems Manager of eCommerce, Operations Lead of eCommerce, and Operations of eCommerce. Michael was responsible for delivering omnichannel projects, maintaining and supporting applications, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring quality assurance. Before Sears, they worked at A&E Networks as Application Development/DBA and Product Development & Application Support. Michael also had a role as a Logistics Coordinator at Hewlett-Packard earlier in their career.

Michael Vanata has a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from San Jose State University.
