Michael Aitken

Michael Aitken has extensive experience in education, athletics, and community service. Currently serving as the Parents as Teachers Coordinator for Ritenour School District since August 2015, Michael focuses on empowering parents to advocate for their children. In addition, Michael has been the Head Cross Country Coach at Ritenour High School since August 2016, inspiring athletes to take pride in their achievements. As the Founder of Team Runner Racing Team and Foundation, Michael honors the legacy of a son who lost their battle with cancer by supporting and inspiring others. Previous roles include Fundraising Coordinator at the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Marketing & Membership Coordinator at North County Incorporated, and multiple coaching positions. Michael holds a Master's degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Lindenwood University.
