Duncan H.

Duncan H. has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to the present. Currently serving as the Director of Creative Media at Ritholtz Wealth Management since 2019, Duncan oversees the production of video, photo, and podcast content for The Compound.

In their freelance career, they have worked as a Photographer since 2008, showcasing their portfolio, news, bio, and CV on their website. Additionally, as a Freelance Filmmaker since 2009, Duncan has engaged in various filmmaking projects.

Duncan has also worked as an Adjunct Photo Faculty at George Mason University from 2018 to 2019 and as an Adjunct Film Faculty at American University from 2017 to 2019.

From 2015 to 2017, Duncan held the role of Film Centre Technical Manager at Johns Hopkins University and Maryland Institute College of Art. As part of this role, they managed film equipment, technology, and production facilities, including a sound stage, audio recording studio, screening room, and editing suites. Duncan also provided instruction to students of different levels.

Lastly, as an Affiliate Instructor of Photography at Loyola University Maryland from 2014 to 2016, Duncan contributed to the instruction of photography.

Duncan H. completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Film Studies, with minors in Digital Arts and Asian Studies, from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. This educational journey took place from 2005 to 2009.

Later, in the years 2012 to 2014, Duncan pursued their Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Photographic and Electronic Media at the Maryland Institute College of Art.

In addition to their formal education, Duncan also obtained a certification in "The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing" from Google in February 2019.
