Chhaya Chauhan

Chhaya Chauhan has a diverse range of work experience in the apparel industry. Chhaya is currently the Head of Product Development at RITU KUMAR, where they are responsible for taking products from concept to market availability. During their time at RITU KUMAR, they successfully launched a new brand called Aarke'.

Before joining RITU KUMAR, Chhaya was the proprietor of Chhaya Designs, an apparel design and bulk manufacturing company based in New Delhi. Chhaya worked with top retailers in the Indian domestic market, including Landmark Group, Future Lifestyle, Madura Fashion and Lifestyle, Arvind Fashions, and Myntra. Chhaya Designs specialized in designing and manufacturing products for these clients.

Prior to Chhaya Designs, they worked at Triburg as a Group Leader, where they were responsible for the business and operations of international brands, including BCBG MAX AZRIA GROUP Inc. Chhaya successfully grew the business from 1.5 million USD to 8.5 million USD.

Before Triburg, Chhaya worked at Creatnet as a Group Leader, where they focused on business and design development for clients in the U.S. and Australia.

Chhaya began their career at Shahi Exports Pvt. Ltd. as a Senior Merchant, where they gained experience in the apparel industry.

Chhaya Chauhan graduated from the National Institute of Fashion Technology in the field of Fashion Design in the years 1995-1998.
