Kris Smirnova

Kris Smirnova is a seasoned User & Customer Experience Researcher and CRO analyst currently at Rituals since May 2022, where responsibilities include leading exploratory research initiatives and bridging various aspects of user experience and analytics. In July 2024, Kris began volunteering as a UX Event Organizer for AmsterdamUX, contributing to the organization of meetups for a community of nearly 6,000 UX professionals. Previously, Kris served as Head of UX Research & Trendwatching at РБК from February 2015 to June 2022, where a shift towards a user-centric strategy was implemented. Earlier roles included a Liaison Officer at Olympic Broadcasting Services during the 2014 Winter Olympics, a Media Analyst at Medialogy, and an Event Coordinator at EUPHORIA event service. Kris holds a Master's degree in Sociology of Public Sphere and Social Communications from the Higher School of Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
