Jort Zwiers

Jort Zwiers has a diverse work experience across different companies and roles. Jort started their career at KEMA Quality as a student intern in 2010, followed by internships at Fixtrade and DEKRA Certification B.V. in 2011. In 2013, they completed a student internship at PWR Pack International B.V., where they developed a working prototype for packaging machines. From 2014 to 2016, Jort worked as an Allround Medewerker at Boels Rental. In 2015, they took on the role of Assistent CAD- & praktijklessen at Hogeschool van Amsterdam, providing assistance in CAD and practical lessons. In 2016, Jort had two simultaneous roles; they worked as a Student/Stagiair at VIRO, where they developed an electric group bicycle concept and supervised other students working on the project. At Sempro Technologies, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer, undertaking various tasks such as developing, implementing, and visiting international clients for semiconductor Trim and Form Tools. As of 2020, Jort is employed as a Mechanical Engineer at Rival Foods.

Jort Zwiers completed their Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design and Innovation at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2013, they attended Rijn IJssel where they pursued engineering with a focus on Technicus besturingstechniek.

In addition to their formal education, Jort Zwiers obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Jort obtained a certification in Engineering, Design and Innovation from Hogeschool van Amsterdam in July 2017. In October 2016, they achieved the CSWA (Certified SolidWorks Associate) certification from SolidWorks Authorized Training Centre. Jort also has a certification in Studentmentorschap from Hogeschool van Amsterdam, although the specific date of completion is not available. Furthermore, they obtained a Propedeuse certification from Hogeschool van Amsterdam in August 2014.

Jort Zwiers also holds certifications in other areas. Jort obtained a certification in Elektrische veiligheid from KEMA Arnhem in 2009. Moreover, they obtained certifications in VOL-VCA from Centerview Examenbureau in June 2015 and in Basisveiligheid VCA NL from Koninklijke PBNA in January 2010.
