Delphine Le Roux

Dr. Le Roux is an accomplished leader in biotechnology with more than 12 years of experience managing technological innovations. She received her doctorate in molecular biology from the University of Versailles in France, following a master’s in biotechnology from AgroParisTech, the leading French institution for life sciences. At the University of Versailles, Dr. Le Roux was recruited for a competitive doctoral fellowship, including an applied research position with Idemia. She contributed to developing a new Rapid DNA technology during the fellowship and ushered the platform evaluation and development trajectory in partnership with a global consortium. Dr. Le Roux refined her management and leadership skills as a research scientist at the University of Virginia and an operations project manager at LumaCyte, where she supported the development, launch, and commercialization of paradigm-shifting biotechnologies. Dr. Le Roux joined RIVANNA to drive new technology development programs, including a $65 million government-funded BARDA program.
