Nicholas A. Bernice

Nicholas Bernice currently serves as the Superintendent of Schools for River Edge Public Schools since July 2024, after a tenure as Superintendent of Schools for Ringwood Public Schools from August 2016 to July 2024. Nicholas Bernice has a long-standing career with the U.S. Coast Guard, holding the position of Reserve Command Master Chief since June 1995, alongside roles such as Reserve Force Management Coordinator - Boatswain's Mate and Education Director for Operation Allies Welcome at JBMDL. In addition, Nicholas Bernice is the Assistant Chief Flight Instructor at Sky Training, LLC, since August 2019, and has served as an Adjunct Professor at William Paterson University from September 2018 to August 2022. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in General Science from Fordham University, a Doctor of Education in Administration and Supervision from St. John's University, a Master of Arts in Reading Education from Saint Peter's University, and a Master of Science in Educational/Instructional Technology from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
