Donald Amstad

Donald Amstad currently serves as Chief Client Officer at River Global Investors, a position held since July 2025, following a brief consultancy role at the same company in April 2024. Amstad has extensive experience in the financial services sector, having held leadership roles at abrdn from 2007 to 2022, including Global Head of Client Growth and COO Distribution for APAC. Prior to this, experience includes serving as Managing Director at JPMorgan Asset Management and Bank of America, as well as Vice President at J.P. Morgan across several global locations. Early career experience includes working as an Associate at Nomura International Ltd specializing in Yen Fixed Income sales. Donald Amstad is an alumnus of the University of Oxford and Highgate School.
