Renee Mazurek

Renee Mazurek serves as the Resilient Communities Manager at River Network since October 2021 and is a member of the Urban Waters Learning Network team since October 2017. Currently, Renee holds the position of Geology Instructor and Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College since August 2012, where responsibilities include teaching Introductory Geology, organizing curricula, administering assessments, and managing lab exercises and field trips focused on geological topics. Additionally, Renee was a committee member for the Asheville Sustainable Advisory Committee on Energy and Environment from January 2018 to December 2020. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Geology from East Carolina University (2001-2003) and a Bachelor's degree in Geology from the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown (1997-2001).
