Shane Jeffrey

Shane Jeffrey is a highly experienced nutrition and dietetics professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Director and Senior Dietitian at River Oak Health since 1996, Shane has held various academic positions, including Associate Lecturer at The University of Queensland and Adjunct Lecturer at Griffith University. Shane has made significant contributions to the field of eating disorders, serving as a Senior Dietitian at Queensland Eating Disorders Service and leading initiatives as Chairperson of the Eating Disorders Interest Group for the Dietitians Association of Australia and Chairperson of the Nutrition Interest Group for the Academy of Eating Disorders. With a strong educational background, including a Graduate Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics from Queensland University of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Griffith University, Shane continues to influence both clinical practice and academic training in dietetics.
