Patrick O'Meara, CPA, currently serves as the Controller at River Oaks Baptist School since March 2024. Prior to this role, O'Meara held the position of Director of Finance at The Gateway Academy from January 2020 to March 2024, where responsibilities included liaising with the Board of Directors to prepare the annual budget and producing financial statements with variance reporting. O'Meara's earlier experience includes serving as an Audit Supervisor at Blazek & Vetterling, where supervision of audits for various non-profit organizations took place, as well as holding multiple audit positions at Calcasieu Parish Police Jury. O'Meara began a career in customer service with Books A Million and Community Coffee Company, focusing on financial accuracy and team leadership. O'Meara earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from McNeese State University in 2013.
