Donna Smith

Donna Smith, Ph.D. has a strong background in the healthcare industry, with a focus on behavioral health. Donna has held various positions at River Point Behavioral Health, starting as the Director of Evaluation & Referral and Utilization Management in 2007. Donna then progressed to Associate Administrator in 2013, Director of Social Services in 2015, and currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director since 2017. Prior to joining River Point Behavioral Health, Donna worked as an Adolescent Therapist at the Children's Home Society of Florida in 2007.

Donna Smith, Ph.D. has a strong education background in counseling. Donna received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Counseling from the University of Florida, where they completed their studies by 2009. Prior to obtaining their Ph.D., Donna also pursued their Master of Education (M.Ed.) and Education Specialist (EdS) degrees in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor at the University of Florida between 2002 and 2004.
