River Trails Park District
Vance Violante has extensive experience in recreational management, currently serving as the Manager of Facilities & Athletics at River Trails Park District since September 1999. In this role, Vance oversees four facilities, manages staff including two recreation supervisors, and coordinates facility and field rentals, special events, and parkour programming. Previously, Vance held the position of Recreation Supervisor at River Trails Park District, where responsibilities included managing community centers and outdoor field scheduling. Vance also worked as a Recreation Supervisor at Pleasant Dale Park District, focusing on youth and adult athletics, day camps, and facility rentals. Vance holds a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management from Bowling Green State University, completed in 1995.
River Trails Park District
The River Trails Park District is a public park and recreation agency that serves the communities of Mount Prospect and Prospect Heights. River Trails Park District is an Illinois Distinguished Accredited Agency. The district has nine parks, Weiss Community Center, Burning Bush Community Center, 401 Administrative Building, Woodland Trails Pool & Aquatic Facility, Rob Roy Golf Course and 10th Hole Bar & Grill and Woodland Trails Driving Range & Miniature Golf. The Park District is responsible for the maintenance, operation and administration of parks and parks facilities under its jurisdiction.
