Nathan Heilman

Nathan Heilman has a diverse work experience in the optometry field. Nathan started their career as a Staff Optometrist at Naval Health Clinic Great Lakes in 2003. During their time there, they were promoted to Vice Chairman of Optometry and eventually served as Chairman. Nathan provided optometric services and managerial guidance in both primary care clinics and hospital-based practice settings. In 2007, Heilman joined Balin Eye and Laser Center as an Optometrist, where they provided comprehensive medical eye care and contact lens services. Nathan also co-managed various eye diseases and surgeries. In 2012, Heilman became the President of River Valley Eye Professionals.

Nathan Heilman completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Augustana University (SD) from 1995 to 1999. Nathan later pursued a Doctor of Optometry degree at Pacific University from 1999 to 2003.
