Kennedy Selvadurai

Kennedy Selvadurai has had a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent position was at Riverbed Technology, where they held the role of Technical Director, Global Customer Engineering starting in March 2021. Before that, they worked as the Manager, Staff Engineering - APAC from September 2018 to February 2021, where they managed a team of skilled engineers handling technical escalations across various product families. In previous roles at Riverbed Technology, they served as the APAC Escalation Manager/Team Lead, Staff Engineering, APAC Escalation Manager & SteelCentral Senior Staff Engineer, Senior Staff Engineer, and Stingray and Cascade Staff Engineer.

Prior to working at Riverbed Technology, Kennedy worked at Applaud-IT as a Senior Network Engineer, providing network consultancy, design, and engineering services for small to medium-sized organizations. At ISPhone Australasia, they held the position of Network Engineer, and at Fastwire Pty Ltd, they worked as a Consulting Engineer, specializing in network configuration, analysis, and audit.

Kennedy also has experience in the academic sector, having worked as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney and Taylor's University College. Before that, they worked at Telekom Malaysia as a Research Consultant and Network Support Engineer. Kennedy also briefly worked as an IT Trainer at PDX Training Centre.

Kennedy Selvadurai earned a BSc (Hons) degree in Computer Science from Universiti Putra Malaysia between the years 1991 and 1996. Kennedy later pursued a PhD in Computer Science (Networking) from the same university from 1996 to 1999.
