Jennifer Silva

Jennifer Silva is an experienced educator with a focus on interdisciplinary integration and leadership in science and mathematics education. Currently serving as an Interdisciplinary Integrator and Co-Head Teacher at Riverdale Country School since August 2016, Jennifer has also held positions as a Grade 5 Team Leader. Prior to this, Jennifer taught Upper School Math and Science at Whitby School from August 2010 to July 2016 and worked as a Science & Math Tutor at The Learning Shop from 2003 to 2008. Jennifer holds a Master’s degree in Science Teacher Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Science in Childhood Education and Earth Science from The College of Saint Rose.
