Rabbi Scott Kalmikoff

Director Of Community Engagement at Riverdale Y (JCC)

Rabbi Scott Kalmikoff has a diverse work experience, with their most recent role being the Director of Community Engagement at Riverdale Y (JCC) since March 2023. Prior to this, they founded and worked as a Genealogist at Genealogy with Rabbi Scott since October 2020. From September 2020 to September 2022, Rabbi Kalmikoff served as a Global Connections Education Associate at the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ. Rabbi Scott also held the position of Program Coordinator for Diller Teen Fellows of Greater MetroWest NJ from July 2018 to September 2020.

Before that, Rabbi Kalmikoff worked as an Assistant Rabbi at Mount Freedom Jewish Center from August 2016 to June 2019. Rabbi Scott also had roles at RiverSpring Health, Congregation Temple Emanu-El of Staten Island, Council of Jewish Organizations of Staten Island, Jewish Voice of Staten Island, and Hillel at the College of Staten Island in their earlier career.

Rabbi Scott Kalmikoff received their Bachelor's Degree in Jewish Studies from Yeshiva University, where they studied from 2009 to 2014. Rabbi Scott then obtained their Rabbinic Ordination from Yeshivat Chovevei Torah Rabbinical School, completing their studies from 2014 to 2018. In 2015, Rabbi Kalmikoff also completed a one-unit Clinical Pastoral Education program at Mount Sinai Healthcare System.
