Carlos Garcia Jr

Carlos Garcia Jr is a dedicated professional in the field of mental health, currently serving as a Mental Health Associate at Riveredge Hospital since July 2022. Previously, Carlos held positions as a Makers Lab Specialist and Intern with Chicago Youth Centers from November 2020 to August 2022. Carlos's educational background includes earning a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences with a focus in Applied Psychology from the University of Illinois Chicago, where engagement as a Student Ambassador for the UIC CHANCE Program occurred from February 2018 to June 2021. Additionally, Carlos participated as a TFI College Fellow with World Learning in July 2019, co-leading a group of 150 young men of color across major U.S. cities, including Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, and Dallas.
