Humberto Vanegas

Humberto Vanegas currently serves as CFO of Rivergate Companies and brings over fifteen years of industry experience to the position. He established his local expertise with various Miami-based firms such as Newgard Development Group, CC Devco, and Related Group, developing a specialized knowledge of South Florida markets. Incorporating this experience with his skills in accounting, budgeting and financing, Humberto brings unparalleled insight into Rivergate Companies’ projects.

Facets of Humberto’s daily responsibilities prior to Rivergate Companies includes cash management, accounting and reporting, coordination of tax returns and audits, establishing controls, project financing, establishing budgets and ensuring their execution, project analyzation and real estate closings.

Prior to his entrance into the business world, Humberto earned a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Florida’s Fisher School of Accounting, as well as his Masters in Accounting from Florida International University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Real Estate Sales License.
