Riverghost.org is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization organized in New Mexico, with a national board and an initial project team led by artist-founder Peter Linett. Riverghost will be a series of large-scale, immersive sound installations in public and cultural spaces, each of which replicates a specific, named rapid on one of the vital, threatened rivers of the North American west.

The project is an ecological call to action; a socially participatory experience; an audiophile revelation; a community ceremony and celebration; and a platform for collaboration of many kinds.
