Rodney Beard

Rodney Beard is an experienced information security professional currently serving as the Information Security Officer at Rivermark Community Credit Union since August 2018. In this role, Rodney collaborates with technical, risk, and operational teams to develop processes and applications that enhance member experiences while safeguarding their information. Prior to this, Rodney held the position of Network Security IA Engineer III at Vectrus from March 2017 to January 2019, where responsibilities included network vulnerability scanning and policy enforcement. Rodney's career also includes serving as an IT Specialist in the U.S. Army from 2009 to 2017, managing program management, security planning, and systems administration, along with teaching as an Adjunct Instructor at Vista College. Rodney began an IT career at Caelum Unitec, providing support for military training command systems. Rodney holds a Master's degree in Information Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix.
