Jayne Edwards

Jayne Edwards is an accomplished education and management professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a Governor at Riverside College Widnes & Runcorn since October 2020, Edwards has demonstrated a commitment to outstanding further education provision that transforms lives. As an Interim Consultant since March 2019, a diverse skill set in leadership, management, and bid writing has been showcased. Previously, Edwards held the position of Director at Catalyst Science Discovery Centre and Museum, where significant infrastructure renovations were secured through grant funding. Other notable positions include Managing Director at Cogent Skills Services and Technical Apprenticeship Service, as well as Strategic Projects Manager at Cogent Sector Skills Council, where project delivery and funding opportunities were explored. Edwards holds a BA Hons in Geography and a PGCE from the University of Nottingham.
