Head Of Pre Advanced Maths And English at Riverside College

Jenni Roe has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Jenni started their career at Riverside College Halton in 2010 as a Sessional Functional Skills English Tutor. In 2013, they moved to Riverside College Widnes & Runcorn, where they initially worked as a Functional Skills Tutor/Assessor. Jenni then progressed to the role of GCSE & Functional Skills English Programme Area Leader in 2016. From 2014 onwards, they also served as a GCSE and Functional Skills English Lecturer. In November 2020, they were promoted to the position of Head of Pre Advanced Maths and English at Riverside College Widnes & Runcorn.

Jenni Roe attended Maricourt High School from 1993 to 2000. At Maricourt High School, they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. After completing their high school education, Jenni Roe went on to Northumbria University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Language and Literature, General. Jenni attended Northumbria University from 2000 to 2003. Later on, they attended Edge Hill University from 2010 to 2012 and obtained a PGCE PCET degree in Adult and Continuing Education and Teaching.
