Beiwei Tu

Beiwei Tu has over 25 years of experience in risk management, environmental health and safety, and industrial hygiene. They most recently served as the Director of Risk Management for the Riverside Community College District, where they managed various programs and departments related to risk and insurance. Prior to that, they were the Executive Director of Risk Management at California State University-San Bernardino, where they focused on building support for environmental health and safety initiatives. They also served as the Safety and Industrial Hygiene Manager at UC Riverside, where they achieved significant reductions in injuries and worker's compensation costs. Beiwei Tu has extensive experience in developing and implementing safety programs, conducting risk analyses, managing regulatory compliance, and leading safety committees. They have also held roles at Walt Disney World, Environ International Corp, AXT Optoelectronic, EHS2 LLC, and ConocoPhillips Petroleum Company.

Beiwei Tu's education history is as follows:

- From 2021 to 2023, Beiwei Tu attended Capella University and pursued a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General.

- From 1997 to 2000, Beiwei Tu studied at Murray State University and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Chemistry.

- Also from 1997 to 2000, Beiwei Tu attended Murray State University and earned another MS degree in Occupational Safety and Health.

- From 1989 to 1993, Beiwei Tu studied at Sun Yat-sen University and completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry.

In addition to Beiwei Tu's academic achievements, they have obtained several certifications. These include the certification of Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) from the Board for Global EHS Credentialing (BGC®) in 2005 and the certification of The New Age of Risk Management Strategy for Business from LinkedIn in April 2022. Beiwei Tu also holds the certification of Associate in Risk Management from The Institutes. Furthermore, Beiwei Tu has the qualifications of Lead Inspector and Risk Assessor from the California Department of Public Health, OSHA Outreach Trainer for Construction from OSHA, and certified industrial hygienist from the American Board of Industrial Hygiene. They are also a certified safety professional according to the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
